THE EDITED FILES: Working with XMP files in Lightroom

  1. Copy the XMP files back into your own folder with the RAW files (make sure you don’t do any re-naming while we’re editing them)

2a) Import that folder into a new Lightroom Classic Catalog

OR

2b) Open your existing Lightroom catalog that contains the images you sent for editing, find your images in the catalog, select all, right-click, and choose METADATA > Read Metadata from Files

  1. Look over the edits and export

  2. If the files appear without any edits, please get in touch with your editor, and CC info@imagesalon.com right away
