How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the bottom of your My Account page. A couple of things worth knowing first:

• If you have a web design subscription, note that your site goes offline when the subscription ends — cancellation is handled separately, so read the Web Design answers before you close things down.

• Post-production files are deleted periodically once work is complete anyway, so keep your own copies.

After deletion your data is no longer accessible through the site, though copies may remain in routine backups for a period before they are rotated out. If you'd rather we handled it, contact support.
